Because sometimes, watching the Tour is also about enjoying a cold one and a plate of proper french fries. Here are my favorite spots where the vibe gets louder as the kilometers tick by.

• Brasserie du Pays Flamand in Merville : a full program lined up for Saturday and Sunday as part of Les Échappées 2 Flandres – 2 Jours
• Le Manoir in Bailleul : bar, vintage vans and old bikes on display. Check out their event on Facebook.
• Ciao Restaurant in Béthune : The restaurant will be open the evening of the Tour de France passing by, July 5! Come enjoy their specialties while soaking up the festive vibe of this special event. Perfect chance to relax on their lovely terrace.  Check out their event on Facebook.
• Auberge du Forgeron in Seclin : Special reduced menu for the Tour de France on July 5. Outdoor bar to raise a glass as the riders pass by. Music and entertainment to keep the party going. A warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Check out their event on Facebook.
• Le Lovibond in Lille : On Thursday, July 3rd, Potence is hosting its first cycling pop-up at Lovibond 🍺🌞 Starting at 2 PM, come discover a selection of beautifully restored vintage bikes!
• Brewery Tandem in Wambrechies : On July 4th, they’re turning the Taproom into a Tour de France village!
  Bunting, printed jerseys, bikes, totally wacky races, and prizes to be won! More info here
• La Carnoy in Lambersart : On July 4th and 5th, enjoy a relaxed and festive way to experience the Tour, just steps from the official route, without barriers or crowds—but with great music, stylish bikes, and friendly people.
